Available Positions with Qualifications

The following positions are available under the Punjab Pension Fund:

1. Chief Accounting Officer (1 Post)

  • Qualification:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
    • Master’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.
    • Additional qualifications like MPhil/PhD in Accounting & Finance or CFA will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • A total of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience at a senior management level in accounting, finance, or auditing within a mutual fund, bank, Modaraba, development finance institution, or non-banking finance company.
  • Age Limit: 50 years at the time of application.

2. Risk Manager (1 Post)

  • Qualification:
    • A minimum of 16 years of education or an equivalent qualification in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Professional qualifications like CFA or FRM will be preferred.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in risk management, with at least 4 years in a managerial role in investment or fund management risk.
  • Age Limit: 45 years at the time of application.

3. Compliance Officer (1 Post)

  • Qualification:
    • A 16-year education or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, ACMA, FRM, or LLB are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in compliance, risk, legal, or regulatory functions within the financial services sector, particularly in asset management companies, non-banking financial institutions, commercial banks, DFIs, or investment funds.
  • Age Limit: 45 years at the time of application.

4. Research Analyst (3 Posts)

  • Qualification:
    • A 16-year education or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Additional qualifications such as CFA or ACCA are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in finance, investment, banking, or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in one of the following areas: investment research, investment portfolio management, or credit ratings/credit appraisals.
  • Age Limit: 45 years at the time of application.
