Available Position for SEPCO Latest Jobs Advertisement

Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

  • Location: Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Contract Duration: Initial period of three (3) years, extendable for a maximum of two (2) years based on performance.
  • Age Limit: Up to 60 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

Key Responsibilities

The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to SEPCO, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Overseeing overall operations and management, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Implementing strategies and policies approved by the Board.
  • Enhancing operational performance, customer satisfaction, and financial sustainability.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including government bodies and the community, to promote SEPCO’s interests.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Educational Background:
    • A minimum of 16 years of education in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution by HEC.
  2. Professional Experience:
    • Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants; OR
    • At least 20 years of verifiable experience in the power sector (distribution and supply).
    • Out of this, 10 years should be in a governance or senior management role within well-known organizations with commercial attributes.
    • Experience as a Chief Executive Officer or in similar leadership positions is preferred.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with change management and corporate environments.
    • Demonstrated capability to drive performance and lead the company towards growth.
  4. Compliance:
    • Candidates must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria as per the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.

Pay Package

  • Compensation: The salary will be a lump sum package as per SEPCO Executive Pay Scales-1, along with other perks and benefits in line with company policy.
