1. FCPS Trainee (Urology and Nephrology)

• Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Candidates must have passed FCPS Part I in General Surgery or Medicine.
  • At least 2 years of completed training in General Surgery or Medicine.
• Training Outline:
  • The induction will be for the first year of training in the specialties of Urology and Nephrology.
  • Selected candidates will receive an honorarium based on the year of training.
  • The training will start after formal approval from the concerned authorities.
  • Candidates currently receiving salaries from their own government or other institutions will follow the same selection procedure but will not be provided an honorarium.

Required Documents

Candidates applying for the FCPS-II Trainee positions must submit the following documents:

1. Typed Application – Addressed to the Commandant, AFIU Rawalpindi.
2. CNIC Copy – Valid Computerized National Identity Card.
3. Matric and FSc Detailed Mark Sheets/Certificates – Proof of secondary and higher secondary education.
4. MBBS Degree – Along with Detailed Marks Certificates (DMC) (for each professional exam).
5. Valid PMDC/PMC Registration – Proof of registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council or Pakistan Medical Commission.
6. House Job Certificate – Documentation of completion of a house job.
7. FCPS-I Passing Certificate – Proof of passing the FCPS Part-I exam in General Surgery or Medicine.
8. Police Verification – A certificate from the local police.
9. Experience Certificate – Proof of training experience in General Surgery or Medicine.
10. No Objection Certificate (NOC) – For candidates currently employed, NOC from their current employer (e.g., Ministry or Department) for training at AFIU.
11. Passport-Sized Photographs – Five recent photographs.
12. Photocopy Sets – Four photocopy sets of all the required documents.
13. Supporting Documents – Any additional relevant documents.
